Previously I went to another vet on Tuesday- he counted the sores on her face provided a steroid shot some antibiotics and sent us home on Friday. I called the office because she hadn’t gotten any better went back in. They looked at her and said make an appointment with a dermatologist. I made an appointment but couldn’t get in for almost 2 weeks. My little dog was suffering so I called another vet, Bear Valley animal Hospital, and she was seen on Saturday. She was diagnosed with strangles, which is a rare disease for young dogs and puppies. Hazel, my puppy is showing signs of improvement and I’m totally grateful to Bear Valley Animal hospital

The staff there was amazing with my fur baby and the prices for Care were soooo much more affordable than any other place I’ve been to in the High desert. The vet was kind and very informative also. Would HIGHLY recommend!!!!

So far, this is the best veterinary hospital I’ve visited in the high desert. The staff are very courteous and polite. They truly care about your concerns and your pets. They squeezed me in their busy schedule, addressed all of my pets needs and I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time. I am definitely coming back here for all of my fur baby’s needs. Huge thank yous to everyone involved for making my time here amazing.

I have been a customer of Bear Valley Animal Hospital for many years. They have always taken very good care of my animals. The doctors are wonderful. They have the laser to use in certain surgical procedures. It keeps the animals more comfortable and is less invasive. My old lady was able to rest comfortably after her procedure. Lately the wait time has gotten much much better. The waiting room is less crowded. They have taken my animals in on an emergency basis. When my previous vet would not. That’s why I switched vets in the first place.

The only place in the HD that allowed me to bring my sick kitten (Pebbles)for an Emergency Vet visit . Thank you for saving her life . Many thanks to the front desk staff , vet assistants and to the Vet Dr. Velasco ! Everyone was extremely kind !

Took my cat in to get spayed, they have the most reasonable price compared to other practices. The receptionist was very nice as well as other employees we encountered. Drop off time was 7am, her surgery done by 1030, home by 130pm. First time visit, but definitely won't be the last. Thank you to all the staff at the Bear Valley Hospital!

It was a wonderful experience.I have never felt so good about leaving my animal with this hospital. And they are so willing to work with you and they do follow up on keeping you updated. I can't say enough positive things about them. They are warm, sincere, polite and caring. And I appreciate all of that

Came for a second opinion and quote. My usual vet quoted me almost $900 to remove a fox tail from my dogs ear. Bear valley animal hospital did it for half the price. I could tell by her demeanor and some of the things she did (like tell me what she saw and why we would need to sedate her) that Dr. McGowan went into this business bc she genuinely cares... and not for the $. Rare find. I didn't consider the other vet to want to shake me down but after seeing this one, I'm coming to that conclusion. If you're in town for a vet, these guys are honest, will try the simplest/cheapest routes b4 reaching into your wallet. The other place charges a cheaper exam price but they'll get you afterward. I'm so happy I found this place and saved $400. The staff was friendly, the only thing was the wait to pick up my girl after the procedure... it took about 20-30 minutes... but not the 2.5 hrs that someone else had to wait, so definitely an improvement!

Great staff, got my Dog his shot and was able to get my questions answered by the Vet and staff. My Dog was originally found as a Stray puppy but me and my partner loved him so we took him in, and made sure he could get all his shots so he can be healthy because originally we got him from a friend who found him living in a Parking lot covered in Ticks. Fast forward now and Gorgan is growing up and doing amazing! (Right picture is of him a day after we got him back in February, left is him as of this post March 30)

Highly recommend Bear valley Animal Hospital 💕 Staff is soo nice, Dr did so good with my Nala. She went in with a pyometra condition at 9 years old & he saved her life. I couldn’t thank this place enough, especially Angelina for guiding me thru it all. I’m so so thankful for this Hospital, if you need your little/big doggies ever checked out or immediate help don’t hesitate to take them here! 😊
